Range Rover Velar (Car Review)

There’s no denying, the Range Rover Velar is the SUV of the moment. It’s the one everyone appears to want: last month it outsold its main sector rival, the Porsche Macan.
So, given the fact the Porsche is a cracker, it’s appears Range Rover has yet another winner on its hands in the stunning, sleek and sporty shape of the Velar.
With the recent weather, it was typical that when we did the video, it was cold, wet and raining. Not surprisingly though, the Velar still shone brightly … especially in its eye-catching Firenze Red paintwork.
Now’s the time to take a deep breath: the range starts at £44,380, but this 240bhp 2.0-litre twin turbo diesel HSE model will set you back £64,160 … and that’s before you chuck in the £8525 of optional extras (including £725 for that stunning, gleaming red paint!).
But hey! What price luxury?
