Here we have a lovely low mileage example of the popular MG TF roadster with the 135 BHP 1.8 K series engine., This particular car benefits from the Sport Pack 2 giving uprated sports suspension; the larger ventilated front discs with four pot callipers painted in red, and 16 inch multi spoke alloys. It also has the bright pack with bright mesh inserts on the outside and chrome door handles. And finally the alcantara pack with the seats trimmed in black leather and smoke grey alcantara., The exterior is finished in metallic black, and following a full mop and polish it presents very well with just one of two small marks. There are a couple of small scratches as can be seen in the photos and a couple of small rust spots. The hood is in good condition and has just been cleaned, recoloured to freshen it and fully sealed with the excellent Renovo product range. Make no mistake this is a 20 year old car and carries some marks, but a good example all the same., The headlights have also received a mop and polish to bring back the sparkle - so the car now looks lovely., The multi spoke alloy wheels are generally in good condition all around. No doubt they would need a refurb to be perfect buy it is not needed just yet, and these are fitted with the correct staggered tyres all round with nearly new Toyos on the front., Moving to the inside and the car has the half leather/half alcantara interior trim and is the usual functional MG TF standard. The seats are comfortable, and as you would expect from the age of the car there is some wear on the trim but no rips or tears. It has been fitted with a Sony aftermarket XPlod stereo., Mechanically the car is very good and drives well. The head gasket is a known weak spot on these, so the receipt on file for it being changed not many miles ago is a good find., Obviously with older cars it is to always easy to have detailed history, but this car has lots of stamps in the original handbook and accompanying receipts as follows -,
