Scott Hardy are very excited to offer you this very special Golf GTI Clubsport S is a low-mileage example of the focused limited-edition hot hatch, which has been fitted with a few modifications. It is powered by a tuned 2.0-litre inline-four, now delivering in excess of 360bhp and 370lb-ft of torque to the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and a Wavetrac limited-slip differential. This car is number 185 of only 400 examples delivered worldwide, of which just 150 came to the UK. Recently serviced by specialist VRS, it is reportedly in well-maintained condition. The odometer shows just 8, 160 miles. This Mk7 GTI Clubsport S is finished in Deep Black Pearl over a grey cloth, leather and Alcantara trimmed interior with red and white pinstripes, diamond-quilted centre inserts, and red stitching. It rides on the correct set of 19-inch alloy wheels, housing red Clubsport brake callipers and shod with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres. On its introduction, the Clubsport S was the fastest Golf GTI ever produced and featured a host of performance-orientated upgrades, including the removal of the rear seats, reduced sound-deadening, bespoke chassis tuning, a lightweight aluminium subframe, a tuned engine, a number of aerodynamic upgrades, uprated brakes and a revised exhaust system. Equipment includes an Alcantara-trimmed multifunction sports steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, a central infotainment screen with satellite navigation, switchable driving modes, heated Recaro seats with embroidered 'GTI' script, and the factory rear seat delete with signature Clubsport strut brace-mounted luggage net. This example benefits from a Wavetrac LSD, an APR remap, a de-cat downpipe, an upgraded clutch, Turbo Technics boost hoses, a VWR RacingLine intake and Revo engine mounts all supplied and fitted by well regarded tuner VRS in Northampton.
