This superb XK8 coupe comes to us having been cherished for the last 20-years by a gentleman owner. But having travelled just a thousand miles since 2018, its time to pass it on to an equally attentive new home where the car can be used and appreciated., Presented in Ice Blue the bodywork is very good and certainly one of the best early XKs weve seen for a while. Its been garaged for many years and has clearly been well cared for: nothing to report other than a couple of small stone chips and a very light scuff to the top-left corner of the near-side wheelarch. Talking of which, the wheelarches themselves, so often a source of corrosion on these models, are free of rust and the wheels themselves practically unmarked, complemented with nice bright centre badges and shod with a decent set of high-performance Falken FK452s., The interior is top-notch. The walnut veneer trim is in great shape being glossy and free of chips and cracks. Seats are plump and firm and the beige leather is in nice condition throughout with just some light wear to the drivers seat back. Unlike many XKs of this age, the leather sections on the steering wheel are not worn through., Mechanically all is in good order. With just over 100k miles on the clock the normally aspirated AJ-V8 is as sprightly as everall 290bhp and 290lb/ft of torque of it will, if you really want, still take you from a stand to 60mph in around seven seconds. No knocks, rattles or squeaks. It drives just as it should: the CATS adaptive suspension on song and taking everything in its stride whether going at pace or more sedately., The car comes with owners manual, MOT to 1st October 2024 and part service history.
